What makes Kyte different?
Kyte offers the convenience of a traditional rental car, but without the hassle of visiting a rental counter. Instead, our friendly "Surfers" deliver your car to you and pick it up when you're done.
How does delivery and return work?
How does the delivery work? We'll bring your car to your home, hotel, the beach—wherever you are within our service area.
How does the return work? When your trip is over, a Surfer will meet you at your chosen location to retrieve the car.

What is the verification process?
To make your Kyte rental experience seamless, we have a simple verification process you'll need to complete before your trip:
Driver's License Verification:
Upload Your License: Follow the in-app instructions to take clear pictures of the front and back of your driver's license.
Deadline: Complete this step at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery time.

Test Charge: After booking, we'll place a small $5 authorization hold on your card to verify it's valid.
Refund: This charge will be automatically refunded before your trip starts.
Does Kyte operate at airports?
Kyte operates without physical rental counters, so airport rentals are a bit different:
Designated Handover Spot: Each airport we serve has a designated off-airport location for car pickup and drop-off.
Transportation to Handover Spot: Kyte may offer transportation to the handover spot in select locations. Check your booking confirmation email for details.
Booking Times: Be sure to schedule your delivery and return with ample time between your flight arrival and departure. Check the airport FAQ page for recommended buffer times.

How do I add or remove coverage?
If you booked directly through Kyte:
You can easily add or remove coverage before your trip starts by contacting our customer support team.

If you booked through Hopper:
If you purchased damage coverage from Hopper, you'll need to contact their customer support team directly through their app for any questions or adjustments.
How do I cancel my trip if I booked through Hopper?
Need to make changes to your Kyte reservation that you booked through Hopper? No problem, you have several convenient options:
Hopper App: You can manage your booking directly through the Hopper app. They have tools that allow you to modify or cancel your reservation.
Kyte App or Website: Use the Kyte app or log in to our website to make changes to your trip details.
