Returning your Kyte car is a breeze! Here's the process:
Pre-Return
Surfer Arrival: If you've opted for Kyte pickup, your Surfer will meet you at the designated return location. Please allow a 15-minute window before and after your scheduled return time.
Track Your Surfer: You can track your Surfer's ETA and live location in the Kyte app.
Refueling: You don't need to worry about refueling the car before returning it. Kyte can refuel it for you and charge the cost to the card on your account. We'll let you know the fuel pricing a few hours before your trip ends, so you can decide what works best for you.
Friendly Reminder: Our Surfers are busy folks and can typically only wait for 10 minutes after the scheduled return time.
The Handover
Vehicle Inspection: Your Surfer will take photos of the car and record the odometer and fuel level.
Return Keys & Check for Belongings: Simply hand over the keys and ensure you haven't left any personal items in the car.
Can someone else return my Kyte?
While only the primary driver can receive the car, you can designate an additional driver to return the Kyte at the end of your trip.

Post-Return
