Do you offer roadside assistance?

Absolutely! We've partnered with Nation Safe Drivers (NSD) to offer 24/7 roadside assistance, even on holidays, at a discounted rate.

What's included?

  • Fuel & Fluid Delivery: Run out of gas or other essential fluids? We've got you covered.

  • Jump Start Service: Battery died? No worries, we can jump-start it.

  • Lockout Services: If your keys are locked in the car, we're here to help.

  • Tire Replacement: Got a flat and have a spare? We'll replace it.

  • Towing Service: If you need a tow, we're just a call away.

How does the roadside assistance service work?

  1. Contact Roadside Assistance: Reach out to our roadside assistance provider through the Kyte app.

  2. Provide Your VIN: Have your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ready to verify your rental. You can find it on the first page of your rental agreement or contact our support team if you need help. Also, your member number is the last 8 digits of the VIN.

  3. Sign & Drive: Once the service provider arrives, you'll sign for the service, and they'll get you back on the road.

Important Reminders:

  • Parts & Fluids: You'll need to pay for any parts or fluids needed on the spot.

  • Alternative Providers: You're free to choose another roadside assistance provider if you prefer.

  • Response Time: NSD aims to reach you within 1-2 hours, but this can vary depending on your location and other factors.

How do I access roadside assistance?

  1. Open the Kyte App: Launch the app on your phone (available on iOS or Android).

  2. Tap "Trips": This will show your current and past rentals.

  3. Select Your Ongoing Trip: Tap the trip you're currently on.

  4. Scroll to "Coverage": Find the "Coverage" section on your trip details page.

  5. Tap "Call Roadside Assistance": A green button will appear – tap it to connect with our roadside assistance provider.

Who pays for roadside assistance?

  • If you have Kyte's Roadside Assistance Coverage (RAC): These services are included in your coverage.

    • Note: If you purchased a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), RAC is automatically included for rentals in Brooklyn and New York City.

  • If you don't have RAC: We'll bill you for these services at the end of the month.
