How do I edit my Kyte trip?

It's easy! Here's how to edit your reservation:

  1. Sign In: Log into your Kyte account on the Kyte app (available on iOS or Android).

  2. Go to "Trips": Find the trip you want to modify.

  3. Tap "Edit": This is located in the "Where & When" section of your trip details.

  4. Choose Your Change: A list of options will appear, allowing you to:

    • Reschedule delivery or return

    • Update the delivery or return address

    • Extend your booking (subject to availability)

    • Shorten your trip

    • Change your pickup or return time

  5. Make Changes: Update the relevant details (dates, times, address) as needed. You can also check the updated price for your trip extension.

  6. Confirm & Pay: Tap the green "Confirm & Pay" button to finalize your changes.

Pro Tip: Use the App

We encourage you to use the Kyte app for trip changes, but our customer support team is happy to help if you encounter any issues.

Shortening Your Trip: Refunds and Credits

If you need to shorten your Kyte trip, you have the flexibility to choose how you'd like your refund:

  • Original Payment Method: Get a refund for the unused days credited back to the card or payment method you used to book your trip.

  • Kyte Credits: Receive a refund in the form of Kyte Credits, which you can apply towards future rentals or any fuel/toll charges.

Important Reminders:

  • Extension Requests: We'll do our best to accommodate your request to extend your trip, but it depends on vehicle availability.

  • Price Changes: Daily rates can vary based on demand, so your adjusted trip may have a different price than your original booking.

  • 2-Hour Deadline: Make changes at least 2 hours before your original scheduled time to avoid a $25 rescheduling fee.
