How do I pay for tolls?
Updated over a week ago

Kyte makes paying for tolls simple and convenient:

  1. Drive Through: Use the license plate reading tolling booths and drive straight through. No need to stop and pay cash.

  2. Automatic Billing: Kyte will track the tolls incurred during your trip and automatically charge the cash cost of the toll.

  3. Administrative Fee: A 33% administrative fee is added to the toll cost.

This combined amount will be charged to the debit or credit card you have on file.

Can I use my own transponder (EZPass, ProPass, SunPass)?

We recommend not using your own transponder and allowing toll charges to pass through seamlessly. If you use a personal transponder, Kyte can provide reimbursements for any double-charged tolls through our CX team. Please note that Kyte is not responsible for additional charges in the event that license plates are improperly removed after the end of your trip.

Can I pay for tolls with cash?

Yes, if you prefer, you can pay for cash tolls yourself. We recommend keeping the receipt for your records.

About Our Administrative Fee

We understand that the introduction of the administrative fee may have come as a surprise, especially since we previously didn't have one. We've made this adjustment to continue providing high-quality service while keeping our fee structure competitive and fair. Our administrative fee remains significantly lower than what many competitors charge for similar services.
