In case of an accident, what will void coverage?
Updated over a week ago

While we strive to provide comprehensive coverage, certain situations can void your insurance protection in the event of an accident:

Actions That Can Void Coverage:

  • Intentional, Reckless, or Dangerous Conduct: This includes any deliberate acts that put the car or others at risk.

  • Driving Under the Influence (DUI): Operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited and voids coverage.

  • Improper Use: Using the Kyte for purposes it wasn't designed for, like towing or driving on unpaved roads, can void your coverage.

  • Misrepresentation: Providing false information during the booking process or when filing a claim can also invalidate your coverage.

Vehicle Usage That Voids Coverage:

  • Commercial Use: Using the Kyte for commercial purposes, such as ride-sharing or delivery services, is not allowed.

  • Illegal Activities: Engaging in any illegal activities while using the Kyte will void your coverage.

  • Racing or Driver Training: Participating in racing, speed contests, or driver training activities is prohibited.

  • Unauthorized Drivers: Allowing someone who is not an authorized driver on your reservation to operate the vehicle will void coverage.

  • Reckless Driving: Driving in a manner that disregards safety laws and endangers others can invalidate your coverage.

Please Remember:

  • Drive Responsibly: Always follow traffic laws and prioritize safety.

  • Stick to the Rules: Use the Kyte vehicle only for permitted purposes.

  • Choose Authorized Drivers: Make sure all drivers are listed on your rental agreement.

By adhering to these guidelines, you'll ensure that your Kyte coverage remains valid and protects you in case of an accident. If you have any questions about coverage or permitted uses, please contact our customer support team.
